    Several users of Windows 10 faced a problem with the Search bar on the 05/02/2020. If you are having a problems with the search bar in Windows 10 such as there is no result of search, the search box turns unresponsive in the task manager or search or when you use the desktop search tool it brought up a blank box, don't panic, this glitch of Windows search is possibly due to Bing integration. So to fix this bug, we just need to disable the integration of Bing search in Windows 10 The Windows 10 Professional and Windows 10 Home has the same installation steps.

  3. Follow the steps below in order to fix Windows 10 search bar :

    1. Those steps will help you fix the bug of the search bar in Windows 10

    2. To start we need to launch the Run command box, we need to press simultaneously on the buttons “Windows”+“R”

    3. Now type “regedit” then OK

    4. Please press YES again to allow the app take changes on your device

    5. Now type in the box (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search)

    6. Right click on the empty place, New, then DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name it “BingSearchEnabled”

    7. Make sure that the value of “BingSearchEnabled” is zero “0”

      8. Create another DWORD (32-bit) Value named “CortanaConsent” with the value 0, If it exists, check that its value is 0. Now just reboot your computer and the search box will work perfectly on your computer. You can also restart only Windows Explorer: open Task Manager > Process tab > right click on Windows Explorer > Restart. And here your Windows 10 search bar is recovered and you can search without any problem.
